Timecruiser Wins 2009 CODiE Award

Chosen as Best in Postsecondary Enterprise Solution Category for Second Consecutive Year

FAIRFIELD, NJ--(Marketwire - May 11, 2009) - Timecruiser Computing Corporation, a trusted services partner to the higher education community, has been named the CODiE Award Winner in the Best Postsecondary Enterprise Solution category by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) for the second year in a row. Established by the SIIA, the CODiE Awards are among the most prestigious in the software industry, showcasing the finest software and digital content products and services across a wide variety of categories. Timecruiser's Solution Suite is comprised of learning management systems and portal services. In addition, Timecruiser was a finalist for the Best Postsecondary Learning Management System Award.

Jill Ferrie of Northeast Iowa Community College, a Timecruiser customer, believes the award is well-deserved. "We are not surprised the Timecruiser Solution Suite was selected as Best Postsecondary Enterprise Solution again. We selected Timecruiser's enterprise academic solutions to replace our LMS when we found Timecruiser delivers superior customer service, outstanding portal and learning management systems, and proven reliability -- all in an affordable on-demand solution."

"During this time when consolidation in this market is limiting choices and driving cost upward, colleges and universities should know there are still good alternatives to the monolithic players in the market. We are honored to win such a prestigious award and to once again be recognized by the education industry as a leader in providing education institutions with the essential teaching and learning solutions needed for student and institutional success," said Allen Wang, president and CEO of Timecruiser. "There is no greater honor than to be recognized by such an elite group that includes customers, peers, partners, and publishers."

"This year, more than 850 CODiE nominations were submitted by 600 companies. A panel of expert judges narrowed the field to 345 finalists, from which the 2009 CODiE winners were chosen. The awards were presented on the evening of May 5th, during a gala celebration at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Now in its 24th year, the CODiE Awards continue to recognize those companies providing the best new technology products and services across a broad array of industries," noted SIIA President Ken Wasch. "In addition, its winners are a prolific testament to the power of technology to deliver innovative solutions to businesses and consumers. SIIA warmly congratulates all of the winners and nominees of the CODiE Awards, whose innovation is essential for continuing America's leadership in the global knowledge economy," Wasch continued.
