About the Author
Jane Lowrey-Christian began writing during the winter of 2007 at the age of seventy-six. She has written six children's full color fantasy books, which she illustrated herself in cartoon style. She never had formal instructions in the arts but she liked to draw. Her first book, Budgie and Sissy's Adventure, was about her experiences during the great depression and drought in the 1930's. This was written from the point of view of a little girl during her childhood and growing up in North Missouri. Presently, she and her husband live in North Missouri and sing together at the area music shows. Jane enjoys her family, and friends, drawing, writing, and her piano.
