The Debt Office has decided not to exchange government bond 1053 for other bonds at present.
Our assessment, based on comments from the market, is that there is currently limited interest in an exchange of this kind.
Within the regular auction plan, the 30-year bond can be issued on a few occasions, provided that demand coincides with our borrowing requirements.
Exchanges of bond 1053 may come into question in the future if the state of the market changes and there is change in interest in long risk. We will then announce this in advance.
