Industry Veteran Joins Patersons HR and Payroll Solutions as Sales Director for Western U.S.

RALEIGH, NC and SALISBURY, UK--(Marketwire - May 21, 2009) - Patersons HR and Payroll Solutions, a leading global HR and payroll software and services business delivering expert solutions to clients in more than 160 countries, today announced that Phil Calandra has joined the company as sales director for the Western Region. In this capacity, his primary responsibility will be generating new business sales. Reporting to Pat Goepel, Patersons' Group Chief Operating Officer, Calandra will also be handling alliances and strategic partnerships.

Most recently, Calandra was HRO alliance executive at Taleo, where he managed key HR business process outsourcing (BPO) reseller relationships on a global basis. His professional experience includes his roles as director of business development at EBS On Line and senior vice president at UnumProvident. Earlier in his career, Calandra was with Ceridian Employer Services, where he was promoted three times, completing his tenure as director, Corporate Development. Prior to that, he had an impressive career with Automatic Data Processing (ADP), where he served in a series of strategic sales and marketing roles, both in the field and at the corporate headquarters.

Calandra earned his master's degree in business administration from the W.P.
