Find Deeper Meaning in Life by Reflecting on Valerie's World -- A Collection of Touching Poems Aided by Beautiful Floral Images and a Unique Interactive Format for Readers to Use

PHILADELPHIA, June 1, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Finding the meaning in our lives truly starts within ourselves; and in the middle of life's complications and obligations, we need to seize the opportunity to pause and reflect personally. Such opportunities are done through the art of poetry, which readers can discover by reading Reflecting on Valerie's World, the compelling new picture book written by author Valerie Joseph-Darden.

Reflecting on Valerie's World is a collection of nine poems that were written during various periods of change and self-awareness in the author's life. These poems capture moments of joy, spirituality, loneliness, inspiration, love, and more. After each poem, Valerie encourages the readers to reflect on the poem and prompts reflection by asking them a few questions, and she leaves space for them to jot down personal notes about their reflection. Then the author describes the emotion or life experience that inspired the poem to be written. All of these are made possible by an interactive format inserted throughout the book.

Based on the author's personal experiences, Reflecting on Valerie's World is a unique and highly interactive poetry book that readers will find attractive, reflective and touching to their hearts. Adding life to the poems is a set of beautiful floral photographs. Highly recommended for readers who wish to reflect on themselves, women going through divorce or change and fans of both poetry and photography, Reflecting on Valerie's World is now available for your reading pleasures online at Xlibris.com
