NovaCast subsidiaries Camito and SwePart Verktyg receive new order from
Finnveden Metal Structures in Olofström

Camito and SwePart Verktyg have received an order for a set of progressive tools
from Finnveden Metal Structures. The deal includes casting of die shoes, as well
as construction and completion and testing of complete dies. The end customer is
one of the leading truck groups in the world. The order also includes
construction and casting of a press pallet of approx. 6 tonnes. 

“This is the second significant order from Finnveden in a short period of time.
We have developed a good cooperation and we are happy and proud to be able to
mobilise a Swedish manufacturing cluster in times of hard international

The order includes completion of four progressive tools with a total weight of
over 18 tonnes. Casting of the die shoes will take place at the CamitoTechnology
Center special foundry, while completion of the dies will take place at SwePart
Verktyg. Delivery will be made during the fall of 2009.

Finnveden Metal Structures produces products and components in steel, aluminium
and magnesium to the automotive sector and general industry.Their production
processes, pressing, die-casting and joining, are designed to ensure high
