Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On 8 June, 2009, Dexia S.A., Brussels (Belgium), has notified us pursuant
to section 21, para. 1 WpHG that its voting rights in Asian Bamboo AG fell
below the 3% threshold on 5 May, 2009 and amounts to 2.91% as of that date
(370,712 voting rights).

Of this amount, 2.91% are attributable to Dexia S.A. pursuant to section
22, para. 1, sentence 1, no. 6 and section 22, para. 1, sentence 2 WpHG.
