REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - June 17, 2009) - Host Analytics, the leader in
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) corporate performance management (CPM), added
to its senior management team with the appointment today of Kelly Bodnar
Battles to Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Battles comes to Host Analytics
from Cisco Systems via its acquisition of IronPort Systems, where she was a
key member of the leadership team that successfully grew the company and
positioned it for a highly valuable exit. In her new role Ms. Battles will
be responsible for all finance and accounting functions as well as Legal
and HR.
"This is a very strategic hire for Host Analytics," said Jon Kondo, CEO at
Host Analytics. "Kelly has primary experience dealing with many of the
challenges and opportunities we will face, including building a finance
team, fundraising, and implementing the back-office systems and processes
needed for explosive growth. She is particularly excited about being the
#1 spokesperson for Host Analytics products and will ensure that we
continue to highlight our internal use of all of our solutions to the
fullest. We are delighted to welcome Kelly to the Host Analytics team."
The appointment of Ms. Battles caps an exciting three months for the SaaS
CPM leader. Since April Host Analytics has increased its valuation via a
Series B financing; launched new CPM products for large and midmarket
enterprises; introduced a series of new high-impact technology
partnerships; unveiled a social networking community for customers; and
surpassed the 8,000 paying-user milestone. Host Analytics also was named
to JMP Securities' Hot 100: Best Privately Held Software Companies list for
2009.
Prior to joining Host Analytics Ms. Battles was Vice President of Finance
at IronPort Systems. During her six-year tenure the company grew from $2M
to $250M in annual bookings and was sold to Cisco Systems in 2007. Before
IronPort, Ms. Battles was a Director in HP's Strategy and Corporate
Development group, a Strategy Consultant with McKinsey and Company, and a
Corporate Finance Associate at J.P. Morgan. Kelly graduated with a B.S.E.
from Princeton and an M.B.A. from Harvard, both with honors.
