AGREEMENT BETWEEN VESTERHAVET A/S AND DSV A/S ON JOINT OWNERSHIP OF MAJOR SHAREHOLDING CANCELLED

On 13 January 2009 Vesterhavet A/S and DSV A/S (company announcement No. 317
from DSV A/S) announced that a conditional agreement had been entered into
between the parties on joint ownership of Vesterhavet A/S' shareholding of 56 %
in DFDS A/S. Hereafter, on 13 January 2009, DFDS A/S issued an announcement
concerning the agreement. 

It was announced yesterday that the parties, Vesterhavet A/S and DSV A/S, have
decided to cancel the conditional agreement. 

The cancellation of the agreement does not entail any changes to DFDS' daily
operations, customer relations or strategy. It is thus DFDS' unchanged strategy
to expand and strengthen the sea-based transport network through organic growth
and participation in a consolidation of the market for the benefit of
customers, business partners and shareholders
