WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., June 18, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ticketmaster, a Ticketmaster Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq:TKTM) operating business, has appointed Jane Kleinberger to the newly created position of executive vice president, College Athletics. The announcement was made today at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) conference by David Butler, President, Ticketmaster North America.

In her new role, Kleinberger will oversee Ticketmaster's partnerships with more than 140 college athletic organizations and work to drive key new ticketing initiatives that best serve the needs of their fans, students, and donors. Kleinberger previously served as Chairman of the Board of Paciolan, a venue ticketing software company she co-founded in 1980, which was acquired by Ticketmaster in 2008. Under her leadership, Paciolan introduced several innovative e-commerce solutions to the ticketing industry. She also serves on a number of industry boards, associations, and is a frequent guest lecturer on the educational circuit and many graduate sports management programs including West Virginia University, Ohio University, and University of South Carolina. She has previously served on the board of directors for the International Ticketing Association (INTIX) and is currently a trustee of the IAAM Foundation Board.
She will be based in Ticketmaster's Irvine and West Hollywood offices.
