DRAPER, UT--(Marketwire - June 23, 2009) - Megadyne
Medical Products, a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of electrosurgical products, has
been recognized with an Export Achievement Certificate from the U.S. Department of Commerce.
The citation was presented by Mr. Rick C. Wade, Senior Advisor and Deputy
Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Commerce, U.S. Department of Commerce,
to Megadyne President and CEO, Rob Farnsworth. The presentation was made
in conjunction with Zion's Bank International Trade and Business
Conference, recently held in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Issued by the Director General of the U.S. Commercial Service, the trade
promotion unit of the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade
Administration, the Export Achievement Certificate recognizes small and
medium-sized enterprises that have successfully entered the international
marketplace for the first time, or that have successfully entered a new
market. It is awarded to both private companies and organizations committed
to exporting endeavors.
