Eric Millham Joins Hampton Roads Bankshares

NORFOLK, Va., July 6, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hampton Roads Bankshares, Inc. (Nasdaq:HMPR), the holding company for Bank of Hampton Roads and Shore Bank, is pleased to announce that Eric Millham has joined Gateway Bank as a Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking in its Richmond, Virginia market.

Eric joins the company with a twenty-six-year career in the banking industry that includes experience in commercial lending, business development, and credit risk management. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and received his Masters in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
