(NASDAQ: TIBX) today announced that Crosslinks, a provider of services, solutions and technology in the field of new advanced visual informatics software, has selected the TIBCO Spotfire® enterprise analytics platform to power research analysis advancements across Europe in the field of bioinformatics. The new partnership underpins Crosslinks' mission to foster the scientific exchange of ideas, guides and use cases between members of the bioinformatics world throughout the European continent and address the industry's move towards a more diagnostic approach. The TIBCO Spotfire enterprise analytics platform will provide a fundamental tool for the sharing of research in areas such as genomics and proteomics analysis between academic organisations through streamlined and easy-to-use analytics workflows.

Founded in 2006, Crosslinks is a spin-off from the department of Bioinformatics at the Erasmus University Medical Center (Erasmus MC) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Under the terms of the new license agreement, Crosslinks will also be instrumental in the implementation of the TIBCO Spotfire enterprise analytics platform, working closely with scientists to provide training to users of the solution.
