The event follows a recent series of very successful Meetups that included
oversubscribed events in San Francisco and Washington DC. At the New York
event, Michael Rosencrantz, Director of Search and Recommendations
Platform, MTVN, along with Apache Lucene/Solr committers Mark Miller and
Yonik Seely will lead discussions regarding performance and speed news
around Lucene/Solr and how Solr is being used at MTV Networks.
Topics at the upcoming New York event will include:
