The Schneider Corporation Adds Wind Energy to Services; Fowler Ridge Wind Farm Added to Project Portfolio

INDIANAPOLIS, IN--(Marketwire - July 20, 2009) - The Schneider Corporation (http://www.schneidercorp.com), a full-service professional services firm that provides engineering, technology and consulting solutions in the energy development and delivery market, is expanding its expertise to include Wind Energy. Wind Energy joins Schneider's other energy services, including coal, electric, gas, hydropower, nuclear and solar.

Schneider's Wind Energy expertise will be showcased at WIndiana, Indiana's statewide wind conference, July 21-22, at the Indianapolis Convention Center. Schneider is a sponsor, exhibitor and a speaker on the "Site Selection" panel.

Schneider is providing engineering services to the Fowler Ridge Wind Farm, Phase II, located 90 miles northwest of Indianapolis. The wind farm, once complete, will be one of the largest in the world, with maximum electricity capacity of 750MW.

Wind Energy Services will benefit from Schneider's years of expertise in Energy Services, including route selection and preliminary mapping, land surveying and title research, acquisition services, aerial and digital mapping, environmental studies, geotechnical studies and testing, subsurface utility engineering, engineering design, transmission line and substation site design and permitting, and erosion control planning.
