I have pleasure in inviting you to attend the press conference on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at which CEO Hans Wijers and CFO Keith Nichols will present our second quarter results for 2009.
The press conference, being held in English, will be staged at our AkzoNobel Headquarters, Strawinskylaan 2555, 1077 ZZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands, starting at 10.30 hrs CET. Prior to the start of the conference (10.15 hrs) AkzoNobel will unveil the color of the year 2010.
The event will be broadcast via an audio webcast available on www.akzonobel.com.
The press release and the Q2 Report will be available for publication at 07.00 hrs CET. Your editorial staff will also be sent the press release at that time.
If you wish to attend on the day, please inform us at your earliest convenience, but no later than July 27.
After the press conference there will be limited opportunities for interviews with our Board of Management. Please let us know if you would like to conduct an interview and with whom.
An analyst call will start at 09.00 hrs, and will be available via an audio webcast on www.akzonobel.com.
