Independent Research Firm Names TIBCO BusinessEvents 3.0 a Leader in Complex Event Processing Platforms

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - August 11, 2009) - TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) today announced that Forrester Research, Inc. has recognized TIBCO's Complex Event Processing (CEP) offering -- TIBCO BusinessEvents™ 3.0 -- as a leader in the August 2009 Forrester Wave: Complex Event Processing Platforms, Q3 2009.

TIBCO BusinessEvents 3.0 uses a model-driven approach to collect, filter and correlate events to deliver real-time operational insight.
