The introduction of the Chevy Volt in August swelled volume in MTLQQ shares, with many traders believing they were speculating on the news is the most obvious evidence of the problem for the SEC.
"The Company is proceeding under Section 363(b) of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy, with almost no chance of any shareholder value at its completion, according to the SEC, FINRA and Company management. Shares of MTLQQ will not be converted to any future shares of a 'new GM.' Management of the Company strongly believes the shares of MTLQQ will turn out worthless."
