CANYON LAKE, Texas, Sept. 8, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- COPsync, Inc. (OTCBB:COYN), a software technology provider to law enforcement and emergency service professionals, announced today that Hill Country Software and Support, Inc. (HCSS) has entered into an Enterprise License Agreement with the Company.
By partnering with COPsync, Law Enforcement technology Channel Partners can offer their existing clients a robust mobile data sharing and collection interface that has the ability to collect 100% of an officer's activity in an electronic format, regardless of their existing technology infrastructure. As vendor neutral software, COPsync encourages information sharing amongst law enforcement clients without competitive resistance from those currently supplying a technology infrastructure. Through the implementation of COPsync(tm), a nationwide information sharing network can be created that provides real-time data to an officer via a laptop computer at the point of incident.
"Hill Country Software and Support is excited about our relationship with COPsync. COPsync has worked hard to create powerful software that gives officers the information they need in the field to do their jobs and help protect their safety," stated Hill Country Software and Support CEO Jim Stateczny. "By interfacing with the COPsync system, HCSS can bring that information directly into our powerful Records Management System to help even more by increasing efficiency when officers are not in the field. With both COPsync and HCSS installed, we believe that both systems become more powerful and more efficient at a very reasonable cost. We're looking forward to further developing our relationship with COPsync in order to give our law enforcement officers even more value in the future."
According to COPsync CEO Russell Chaney, "We are pleased to begin working with Hill Country Software and Support. Through our relationship with Hill Country, we are able to reach a large existing client base. Hill Country offers its clients a high quality records management solution and we are pleased to have our information sharing software included in their technology offerings. Through this partner relationship, and our other current and future partner relationships, we are anticipating a successful national rollout of our information sharing technology."
