MIT Enterprise Forum Phoenix Event Focuses on Energy and Innovation
Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders Discuss Challenges and Opportunities

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - September 16, 2009) - The MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)
Enterprise Forum Phoenix is hosting an event that brings together the
established Arizona business community with enthusiastic innovators,
startups and entrepreneurs to discuss the growing sector of renewable and
alternative energy. The event, "Energy Entrepreneurship and Innovation,"
will be held Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Scottsdale Hilton Resort
and Villas starting at 5:30 PM.
Attendees will have an opportunity to network with several early stage
energy companies that have been selected for a premiere entrepreneur
showcase. Investors and business and community leaders will engage with
the alternative energy entrepreneurs to learn about their companies, their
inventions and how they plan to change the energy landscape in Arizona and
around the world.
The evening will advance with a frank discussion by Arizona's top energy
CEOs who will detail their experience in the fast growing alternative
energy segment, a target for stimulus and a market ripe with innovations
that can potentially save money and the environment. The expert panel
includes Peter Green, CEO of Advent Solar, Dave Thompson, chairman and CEO
of Diversified Energy, Steven Lockard, president and CEO of TPI Composites,
Inc., and Joel Borovay, CEO of Insulock. The direct conversation will be
moderated by Alex Earhart, executive vice president, products at Validity,
Inc.
