Sierra Nevada Corporation Awarded Competitive Contract Valued at More Than $600M From U.S. Customs and Border Protection

SPARKS, NV--(Marketwire - October 1, 2009) - Sierra Nevada Corporation's President Eren Ozmen
is pleased to announce that SNC has been awarded a competitive contract
valued at more than $600M for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
Air and Marine Multirole Enforcement Aircraft. Eren Ozmen stated, "This is
a strategic win for us in realizing our diversification objectives into
Homeland Security Department as well as others, like international
markets." The initial Base contract is for $95M for 5 Beechcraft 350ER
aircraft with 4 one-year options up to 30 aircraft over the life of the
program. The MEA program will be performed by SNC's IMS Business Area in
Hagerstown, Md.
