VALHALLA, NY--(Marketwire - October 8, 2009) - FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. today announced a
multi-year agreement between KIS Photo-Me Group and Fujifilm's Technical
Services and Support Division. As the preferred technical partner, Fujifilm
Technical Services and Support will provide installation, help desk
support, field services and depot repair for KIS USA's recently announced
Photobook Maker Kiosks for retail. Fujifilm has extensive experience within
the imaging sector and provides technical support to some of the country's
largest retailers.
"Fujifilm is pleased to support KIS. We know this business well and are
100% committed to providing them with top-notch services and support," said
Ron Santos, vice president of Technical Services, FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. "We
have a solution in place created specifically for KIS to ensure maximum
performance to benefit retailers and their customers."
"Fujifilm has been recognized for their commitment to excellence and
leadership within the photo category on multiple occasions by the world's
largest retailer," said Jean-François Rucine, vice president, North
America, KIS USA. "They were able to offer us a customizable solution which
increased cost efficiency for us. We are very confident in Fujifilm's
capabilities and expertise in the services and support arena to ensure that
the kiosks are up and running smoothly."
KIS Photo-Me Group premiered their Photobook Maker Kiosk at PMA 2009 and
earned the 2009 TIPA Award for Best Kiosk. KIS's latest kiosk allows
retailers to offer their photo consumers an on-demand solution for
personalized photo book creation. Users simply insert a memory card into
the kiosk, then select and organize their photos as desired. The Photobook
Maker automatically prints, glues and binds a fully composed 8"x5.7" photo
book on glossy paper in merely 4-10 minutes depending on the length of the
album. As the demand for photo gifts continues to rise, the immediacy of
the Photobook Maker arms retailers with a solution that is an excellent
complement to traditional kiosks that enable retail customers to order
photobooks for pick up at a later date or time. To learn more about KIS
