About the Author

Laura Smith is a thirty-year-old mother of two. Having been a "stay at home mom" for the past four years and loving every second of it, her life took a turn when her husband/partner of the past fourteen years confronted her and "came out of the closest." The author loves him dearly and has great respect for him having such courage to make such a life altering decision in order to finally be his true self. When he lost his job soon after, Smith got her pen and paintbrush out to provide the best life possible for her young ones. Life took another unexpected turn when the migraines she was having was caused by a tumor in her brain. After many twists and turns and a surgery, she's currently expecting a full and speedy recovery. This experience has given Smith a fresh perspective on life and inspired her to do her own part in helping others.
