The Beginning of an Epic Saga... -- New Fantasy Follows a Young Girl on a Long, Dangerous Journey to Fulfill Her Destiny

SCOTTSBURG, Ind., Oct. 27, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A nuclear war destroyed their civilization, but there are those who survived both on the surface and in the underground. Life had changed beyond imagination as new races were born with special abilities. When those in the underground moved to the surface, a struggle for power ensued and led to a bloody war. Readers can witness the events unfold in author James Fields' Tracks of the Dark Wing.

After the nuclear destruction that befell the world, new races emerged such as Light Elves, Gnomes and Ogres. Life spans had changed -- they were longer. Where there is light, there is also dark. A race of Dark Elves is intent on ruling everything and everyone. In their pursuit for power, they created creatures with different DNA samples and used dark magic to help them with this task. One of these genetically engineered species is called Dark Wing. But the creation of the Dark Wing proved disastrous even to their creators.

Legend spoke of a Chosen One who could break the curse that had been set forth. But it would take another one hundred and fifty years for this special little girl to be born. As the Chosen One, she has a long and dangerous journey ahead of her -- a destiny that was hers long before her birth. In this new world, where light and dark magic, as well as dangerous creatures unlike any other, abound, can one little girl and other Chosen Ones fulfill their destiny and win against the dark forces? Readers can follow the Tracks of the Dark Wing and unveil the intriguing answer.
