International Business Systems (IBS) forms new operating division called Iptor

New division set to focus on storage, infrastructure and content management
solutions.

STOCKHOLM, 2nd November, 2009 - International Business Systems (STO: IBS B) the
leading application supplier for wholesale and distribution, announced today the
formation of a new division within the group called Iptor, aimed at providing a
refined focus, greater market visibility and enhanced customer service for some
of its solution offerings. President of the division will be Ulf Zetterberg,
formerly IBS' Senior Vice President Nordics and ITS.

Bringing together several previously separate business units within IBS Group,
the new division will focus on selling products and associated services that
today are offered as add-ons to IBS Enterprise, IBS' core business application
suite for distribution. This includes offerings such as storage capacity,
technical infrastructure, content management and systems integration services
and the division will operate globally.

“IBS has long been considered a leading specialist in core business applications
for wholesale distribution companies, but in fact we also offer a significant
range of other services and solutions to our customers as well”, says Mike
Shinya, CEO and President of IBS. “These offerings have historically not
received the attention and credit they deserve, and by forming this new division
under Ulf's leadership, our ability to serve the full range of our solutions to
our customers will be significantly enhanced”.

“We see a growing demand for our solutions and services and the foundation of
Iptor allows us to continue to deliver solutions with the IBS group at the same
time that we also can continue to develop and focus on our own customers outside
the traditional IBS ecosystem”, says Ulf Zetterberg.

More information about Iptor, an IBS division, will be posted on the new web
site http://www.iptor.com shortly.
