WHAT: The historic agreement approved by lawmakers earlier this month to overhaul California's antiquated water system and preserve the endangered Bay-Delta ecosystem will take center stage at a luncheon hosted by CORO, featuring top federal and state leaders as well as key stakeholders from the urban, environmental and farming interests. In the first public forum about the legislation since its passing, speakers and panelists will share unique perspectives about the comprehensive package of five water bills, and an $11 billion bond measure to fund them, slated to come before California voters in 2010.
