S.A.G. Solarstrom AG installs a 4.6 MWp roof-top system on Dehner Garden
Center

- Planning and construction progress mean that the system can be connected
  to grid this year
- WALTER konzept awarded contract for system construction to the
  photovoltaic specialists in Freiburg

Freiburg, November 10, 2009. S.A.G. Solarstrom AG (WKN (German security
identification no.): 702 100, ISIN: DE0007021008), Freiburg, will connect
the 4.6 MWp roof-top system on the roof of the Dehner Garden Center in Rain
to grid this year , according to the latest status of planning and
construction progress. S.A.G. was commissioned as the main contractor in
September by the project planning company WALTER konzept, Ellwangen, to set
up the planned 4.6 MWp system, after WALTER konzept was awarded the
contract for handling this large-scale project in June.
The project offers promising returns, so that although S.A.G. has already
received inquiries from investors for the 4.2 MWp taken over by Walter
konzept, they have also been authorized by the Supervisory Board to include
this volume in their own power plant portfolio. WALTER konzept will retain
400 kWp.

Dehner GmbH & Co. KG is the market leader in the garden center sector, with
over 100 garden centers in Germany and Austria. One of the largest roof-top
systems in Europe is currently being installed in Rain am Lech, where the
company's headquarters, with around 1,000 employees, are situated. The
company has leased the use of the large roof-tops for 20 years and wants,
at the same time, to underscore their own commitment to the environment
with this project - 'The system will generate around 4,500 MWh of
electricity, which will be enough to supply approximately 1,000 4-person
households, at the same time saving 3,000 tons of CO2 per year', says Dr.
Hansjörg Flassak, Managing Director of Dehner GmbH & Co. KG. 'That's why
we're supporting this project and have made our roof-tops available.'
Dehner already had a 1 MWp system installed on one of their roof-tops by
WALTER konzept last year.

WALTER konzept was awarded the contract for the new large-scale project by
Dehner in June. The company is acquiring roof-tops for photovoltaic
projects all over Germany and undertakes the project planning and
development. 'S.A.G. has many years of experience and significant reference
projects for roof-top systems, including those with difficult roof-top
constructions', says Wolfgang Walter, Managing Director of WALTER konzept.
'For such a large-scale project, we need a reliable partner like S.A.G, who
installs systems with an ideal quality and the best cost/performance
ratio.'

First Solar thin film modules and Kaco inverters will be used on the
roof-tops, which are aligned in different directions. Thin film modules
have been chosen due to the roof-top statics, which only permit a low
additional load and no mounting.

Promising returns

'The location of the system and its high-quality construction are ideal and
offer very promising returns', says Oliver Günther, Sales Director of
S.A.G. Solarstrom AG. 'We are already in discussion with potential
investors, but have also been authorized by the Supervisory Board to
include up to 4.2 MWp in our own power plant portfolio, due to the
attractiveness of the project. Over the next few weeks we will decide which
option is more expedient for S.A.G. , taking into account all
business-related aspects'.
