NEW YORK, Nov. 10, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- British Airways has launched a special seat sale today to London and select other destinations in Europe, Africa, India, Asia and the Middle East.
Roundtrip airfares begin at $458 between New York (JFK or Newark) and London. Sale fares are also available to Paris, Rome, Madrid, Istanbul, Cairo, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Mumbai, Delhi, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Milan, Mauritius, Male, Hong Kong and Entebbe. Comparable airfares are available from all British Airways' U.S. cities to London.
Fares are available for sale through Thursday midnight (EST), Nov. 19, 2009. Travel is valid from Nov. 17, 2009 - Mar. 28, 2010 (excluding Dec. 21 - 23, 2009).
British Airways has launched a feature on ba.com that gives customers the ability to book a complete holiday package from thousands of options online, saving time and money. Customers can adjust their search results based on price, type of hotel and location and compare their top three choices. They can also choose their hotel direct from a Microsoft map, making sure they are totally in control of planning their perfect holiday. Customers will still have the option to select flight only, hotel only or car rental only or simply add what they need to flights, but by using the new technology they can now easily create their own personalized holiday package which will offer better prices than ever before.
World Traveller roundtrip fares must be booked and purchased seven days in advance and are non-refundable. Fares may be higher for other travel dates, from other U.S. departure gateways and to other worldwide destinations. Weekend (Thursday-Sunday) surcharge applies at $30 each way. Fares include fuel surcharges and are subject to government approval and do not include government fees and taxes from approximately $165 and a $2.50 September 11th Security Fee. A minimum stay of Saturday night is required and maximum stay is permitted up to 11 months. Other significant restrictions apply.
