In the days leading up to Old National's anniversary date, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels and U.S. Congressman Brad Ellsworth, who represents Indiana's 8th District, both made proclamations declaring Nov. 11 Old National Bank Day in Indiana. * Each quarter, associates held donation drives in Old National markets with the goal of collecting 175 items to donate to local charities. The first three collections (the forth is underway) exceeded each market's goal and resulted in the collection of 30,275 total items that stayed in each local community. * On June 24 (175th day of the year), Old National donated more than $175,000 to over 200 non-profit organizations. Each of Old National's 182 banking centers and insurance offices donated $175 to a local charity of the banking center's choice, and there were other significant gifts throughout Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. * Today, Old National Bancorp President and CEO, Bob Jones, kicked-off a 175-hour volunteer marathon at Old National's 4th quarter Town Hall meeting for associates. During a 175-hour period, starting at 9:00 a.m. (CST) this morning, associates will volunteer in special ways throughout their communities, in honor of Old National's 175th anniversary.
