(NYSE:ENH), a Bermuda-based specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, today announced that Doreen Miller has joined Endurance Worldwide Insurance as a Senior Vice President, U.S. Excess Casualty, in the large account retail practice. She comes to Endurance with more than 20 years of underwriting experience, as well as perspective from the brokerage side of the business where she started her career.
Ms. Miller joins Endurance Risk Solutions, the company's retail casualty practice in New York City, where she is responsible for building a U.S. Excess Casualty Practice focused on large layered accounts at target attachment points. Working closely with counterparts in Bermuda and the U.S., she will build on Endurance's casualty product capabilities and enhance the company's coverage offerings to clients with sophisticated risk management programs.

Since 1998, Ms. Miller held various management roles with Zurich North America's Casualty Business, where she played a key role in growing their Umbrella/Excess business in the New York area before taking on responsibility for the Excess Casualty business, managing five branch offices and a large underwriting portfolio.
