Renewed framework agreement and new call-off order for wind power castings to NovaCast subsidiary Camito Technology Center

Renewed framework agreement and new call-off order for wind power castings to
NovaCast subsidiary Camito Technology Center

NovaCast Technologies' subsidiary Camito Technology Center has negotiated a
renewed framework agreement as well as the first call-off order from Enercon
regarding continued production of castings for wind power plants. The framework
agreement, which refers to production during 2010, is valued at approximately 24
MSEK. The value of the first call-off order is approximately 6 MSEK.

The order refers to the two products weighing 3 and 5 tonnes respectively that
the foundry has delivered to Enercon during 2009 to a lesser extent, where the
calculated delivery value is 5 - 6 MSEK. A production increase with successive
deliveries of the first call-off order will commence towards the end of 2009.

“The order is very important for the foundry and is a big step towards creating
an optimal production mix between Camito die shoes and traditional die shoes,
which constitutes unique single piece production, and heavy serial castings in
advanced ductile iron”, says Camito Technology Center AB's CEO Janni Dimovski in
a comment to the order.

Camito Technology Center started a cooperation with Enercon during 2008 when
they signed a large framework agreement. Production start was planned for the
end of 2008 with successive increase during 2009. However, the start was
slightly delayed at the beginning of 2009 and production increase has not
proceeded to the planned level. During 2009 Camito Technology Center has
invested in relatively extensive castings to optimize their production process,
which creates a good base for orders at the modern foundry in Hästveda.

An adjustment to the reported order intake and order backlog was made in the
latest quarterly report. The volume of the framework agreement was not included,
only specific call-off orders. The current order will therefore, in accordance
with the new principle, mean an increase of approx. 6 MSEK in order intake and
order backlog.

Enercon was founded in 1984 and with over 14.500 global installations, which
generate a total of 17 GW, is the fifth largest manufacturer of wind power (10%
of the global market). Enercon is the market leader in Europe (51% ) with
7.000 installations and a capacity of
9 GW. Enercon's success is largely built on their technology for gearless wind
turbines.

NovaCast Technologies, listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange (NCAS B), develops and
markets enhanced castings for the production of car body parts, as well as
software for methoding, simulating and process control for more efficient
production processes to the global automotive industry and its subcontractors.
With the Camito technology enhanced castings are manufactured in one solid piece
for the production of dies for forming stamping automotive body components in a
considerably shorter time than traditional dies. Through die manufacturer
SwePart the group has expertise within the whole value chain for the production
and sales of stamping dies.
