TROY, Mich., Nov. 25, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Syntel, a global information technology services and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) company, today announced it will host a workshop on Business Transformation strategies for Canadian business and technology executives in Toronto on December 14, 2009.
This invitation-only event will focus on transforming IT organizations to better align with business goals, as well as to maximize efficiency and competitiveness through a combination of strategic sourcing, global delivery and lean IT practices.
Leading the workshop will be Forrester VP and Principal Analyst Marc Cecere, a leading expert in the design of information technology organizations. By focusing on organizational structures, processes, governance, and culture, Mr. Cecere has helped redesign the IT departments of more than 200 companies.
The focus of Mr. Cecere's sessions will be the role of strategic sourcing, architecture, governance, planning and relationship management in implementing a global IT organization. He will present examples of both successful and unsuccessful global IT initiatives, and will identify steps that Canadian companies can take in order to reduce costs, boost productivity, and position themselves for growth.
Attendees will participate in a workshop and roundtable discussion designed to uncover best practices and opportunities to integrate information technology with business operations, as well as reduce costs and improve performance through a global IT strategy.
