VINX Index Information: Update of the Revision of the NOREX rules (41/09)

Update of the Revision of ”Rules for the Construction and Maintenance of the
NOREX Exchanges' Tradable, All-Share, Sector, Small Cap and Benchmark Indexes” 

The revision of the NOREX rules has been updated. The update concerns the
change of the specific index formula for Stockholm indexes. The formula for
Stockholm indexes will not be changed to the NOREX algorithm during this
revision. The new effective date for the algorithm change is set to March 1,
2010. 

The other changes will be effective December 1, 2009 as stated in the notice
published September 11, 2009. 

The main changes are:

-	A new name: “Rules for the Construction and Maintenance of the NOREX
Exchanges' Indexes” 
-	Dividend adjustments have been revised in order to harmonize with the
dividend methodology used in OMXS30. 
-	The index rules now include the Small Cap indexes and the quarterly capping
schedule has been clarified. 
-	The capping methodology for the OMX Helsinki Cap indexes has been included in
the index rules. The “Rules for the construction and Maintenance of the OMX
Helsinki Cap Indices” will be discontinued as of December 1, 2009. 
-	Oslo Børs has changed their current Small Cap index to be based on free float
market capitalization instead of total market capitalization.
