A Lifetime Gesture of Longing for Freedom and Self-Expression -- Author Presents Personal Life and Observations With a Hard-Earned Authority

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J., Dec. 3, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- By whose authority? Author Edith Stein Zelig answers this self-directed question as she tells the story of her extensive, varied life experience. She carries out to prove her authority in an unassuming yet firm voice as she presents her essay compilation, Quo Warranto.

Quo Warranto takes a long, introspective look back at the past. From her humble beginnings in Romania, to witnessing the horrors of World War II, to the overwhelming freedom found in America, this book brings to life many interesting cultures and social norms that once existed, the echoes of which still linger today. Zelig presents a life of trials, hardships, and trauma as she relates of the people who were close to her heart and on the importance of family.

Zelig remembers well the story surrounding her early years, when she was kidnapped a few days after she was born, almost suffocating a few months later. As well, she demonstrates her keen observations about the happenings around her, to give a commentary of the times she had lived through.

Having struggled many times enough to come to believe that life was a demanding journey, Zelig firmly conveys her ideas and thoughts in these essays of her life, weighty testimonies of the authority with which she now writes and thinks. "The essays are formed to visualize my inner instrument of legalities, without any plagiarism," Zelig writes. Saturated with the fervor with which it is written, Quo Warranto chronicles a bravely led life and the strength inevitably gained by that courageous individual who refused to give up.
