Meet Dana, a Lady Looking for Love and Purpose -- New Book Follows the Exploits of a Lady Who is Able to Share an Unconditional Love Even Without Ever Experiencing It

PASADENA, Calif., Dec. 4, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Readers on the lookout for coming-of-age stories as well as tales of self-discovery are in for an enduring journey in The Love of Payne, a new book of fiction authored by M. Johnson and released through Xlibris.

The Love of Payne introduces readers to Dana Payne, a lady who grows up but suffers tremendously from emotional and spiritual neglect. For some reason, she is able to share an unconditional love without ever experiencing it or knowing the origin of the love that flows through her. Her mom sheltered her and her sisters a great deal. As she grows into adulthood, Dana experiences several failed attempts at love. She also finds herself a victim of the infidelity that a lack of love was sure to bring. On the brink of insanity, balled up in the corner in the back of her clothes closet, she hears a calm and comforting voice that could change her life for good. Could this be her chance to find out who she is and realize what her true purpose in life is all about? Read the book to find out.

Filled with many heartwarming moments and believable drama, The Love of Payne will keep readers coming back for more. To order a copy, please visit www.Xlibris.com or call (888) 795-4274 today.

About the Author

M. Johnson was born Maisha Loyce Dunn and raised in Southern California where she still resides. She was born into a creative family with more than seven of her immediate relatives being creative artists. Having seven older brothers has also given Maisha a unique perspective on relationships. Maisha and her siblings found joy in expressing their creativity in many ways, including creative writing, music, canvas art, or dance. Maisha has always expressed her creativity through creative writing (i.e. short stories, poetry, song lyrics, etc.), singing, modeling, acting, dancing, and design. She has recorded with platinum-selling musical artists, and modeled for name brand cosmetics and clothing companies. Becoming a novelist was inevitable. The Love of Payne was inspired by multiple stories shared by and between Maisha and several of her friends and family members to create a complete story about the highs and lows of a woman's journey to love. There are many things that you will see in the near future from this author / designer / musician / creative artist. In the mean time, please enjoy The Love of Payne.
