SSH Joins TIVIT - a Research and Innovation Company
SSH has joined Tivit, a national non-profit company which fosters co-operative
research and innovation in information and communications industry and services
in Finland.
HELSINKI, FINLAND and WELLESLEY, Mass. - December 22, 2009
SSH Communications Security (HEL:SSH1V), a forerunning provider of
open-standards-based enterprise security and managed file transfer solutions,
joins Tivit as a shareholder.
Tivit Ltd was recently founded by Finnish business enterprises, innovation
network players and universities, and it is a part of the Center for Science,
Technology and Innovation that forms a large cross-industrial network focusing
on joint technological innovation in Finland. Tivit's specific goal is to create
new ICT-based business ecosystems to enable new global growth business for its
owners and partners. The cooperative work involves national and international
research programs to create new technological and business innovations. Tivit
also creates an ecosystem to test and pilot new business opportunities for
global markets.
