Z-Wave Alliance Showcases Expanded Ecosystem at CES 2010
International Demos, Inaugural Home2Grid Summit Sponsorship and CABA Open House

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - January 7, 2010) - CES 2010 Booth #20901 South Hall -- The
Z-Wave Alliance, an open consortium of global companies dedicated to
building home control products based on Z-Wave wireless technology, is
making a big splash at CES 2010, which starts today in Las Vegas. There are
twenty
Z-Wave Alliance members exhibiting in the booth, which has a new location
in the front of South Hall 1.
"We're entering CES with great momentum following on the heels of
certifying our 350th product," noted Raoul Wijgergangs, chairman of the
Z-Wave Alliance. "We have a significant global presence at this event and a
number of new products being announced and demonstrated by our members both
within the Z-Wave Alliance booth and throughout the show floor."
For the first time ever, international members of the Z-Wave Alliance
including Gridmanager and NorthQ are participating in the CES booth to demo
energy management products that were recently showcased at the Bright Green
Expo which ran in parallel to the COP15 climate change event in Copenhagen
last month.
The Z-Wave Alliance is sponsoring the Inaugural Home2Grid Summit
(www.h2g-summit.com/2010), an invitation only event on Saturday, January 9
that will discuss smart grid developments and the implications for consumer
electronics. The event will run from 9:00-11:30 a.m. in Meeting Room S202
at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Z-Wave is playing an increasingly
important role in home energy conservation and management, and there are
numerous members demonstrating such products at the show including 4Home,
Gridmanager, iControl Networks, Trane and RCS, among others.
On Friday, January 8 from 6-8 p.m. the Z-Wave Alliance is hosting the CABA
Connected Home Research Council reception at its booth, which is sponsored
by Whirlpool and Direct Energy and is expected to bring in 75-80 attendees.
