IBS Distribution Resource Management software contains the right ingredients for
Smeding

International Business Systems (IBS) and Smeding a leading fruit and vegetable
wholesaler in the Netherlands have entered into an agreement for the
implementation of IBS software to improve their logistic systems.

Nieuwegein, January 13, 2010 - International Business Systems (STO: IBS B) the
leading business application supplier for wholesale and distribution, announced
today that Smeding, one of the largest wholesalers of fruit and vegetables in
the Netherlands, has selected IBS Enterprise to help support its growth plans
and improve process efficiencies in stock control, purchasing, sales,
distribution and warehouse management.

The agreement will include implementing IBS Enterprise, the world's most
advanced business application suite tailored for distribution and wholesale,
along with IBS Advanced Warehouse Management, functional modules focused on
logistics, goods handling, warehousing, packaging and assembly for the most
demanding warehouse environments.

According to Rinie and Sybo Smeding, owners and directors of Smeding, IBS was an
obvious choice. “Last year Smeding started looking for new IT business systems
to support our tremendous growth. Our existing systems were simply no longer up
to the job. For example, a number of our processes were based on inefficient
manual paperwork, which resulted in missing stock and other inaccuracies”, they
stated. “We decided we needed a fully integrated system that would improve the
logistics, control our costs and most importantly dramatically improve our
performance to our customers. It became clear during the selection process that
IBS Enterprise, and in particular the advanced warehouse management
capabilities, would be key to us gaining the insight into our stock and driving
the efficiencies we needed.”

Smeding will implement IBS Enterprise and IBS Advanced Warehouse Management. IBS
Enterprise streamlines, automates and accelerates all of the critical processes
within the distribution supply chain processes that determine success: from
inventory planning, purchasing and supplier management through warehouse
optimization, value-added services, demand management and returns processing.
Along with IBS Advanced Warehouse Management, the full solution will support all
the activities in the warehouse, factory floor, front and back office.

“The food industry is a very complex sector in which speed and quality of
product play a pivotal role. We understand this, and take pride in focusing our
energies to help companies like Smeding achieve Distribution Excellence within
their field“, stated Mike Shinya, CEO IBS. “Our market leading application
suite, IBS Enterprise, and in particular our Advanced Warehouse Management
capabilities, will help Smeding realize the efficiencies and customer service
levels for which they strive. We are pleased to now have Smeding as a customer,
and look forward to having a long-term and mutually beneficial relationship with
such a great company.”
