ENVIRON Announces First Russian Office

BATH, ENGLAND--(Marketwire - January 18, 2010) - Ewire -- José Fernandez, President of the European Division of ENVIRON Holdings, Inc. (ENVIRON), is pleased to announce the opening of the firm's first office in Russia. The establishment of a formal presence in Moscow is a result of ENVIRON's expanding international work in the CIS region and local client requirements.

ENVIRON Principal Alan Fowler leads ENVIRON's consultancy work and business development in Russia and the CIS states. He has worked in the region for many years, providing environmental, sustainability and health and safety support to a diverse array of clients including International Financial Institutions (IFIs) such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), companies in the oil and gas sector, such as Nord Stream AG and Irkutsk Oil Company, and the mining, metals and heavy engineering sectors. The work includes Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) and Environmental Due Diligence (EDD). According to Fowler, opening this office enables ENVIRON to continue to support clients in the region and to bring further ENVIRON services -- including Energy and Carbon Management and REACH support -- to them.
