KONECRANES PUBLISHES ITS 2009 FINANCIAL STATEMENTS BULLETIN ON FEBRUARY 4, 2010 

Konecranes will publish its 2009 Financial Statements bulletin on Thursday,     
February 4, 2010 at 9.30 a.m. Finnish time (Please note the time!). The report  
will be available on the company's website at www.konecranes.com after          
publishing.                                                                     

An analyst and press conference will be held at G.W. Sundmans' Auditorium       
(address Eteläranta 16) at 12.00 p.m. Finnish time. The Financial Statements    
will be presented by Konecranes' President and CEO Pekka Lundmark and CFO Teo   
Ottola.                                                                         

A live webcast of the conference with the possibility to ask questions through  
web will begin at 12.00 p.m. at www.konecranes.com. An on-demand version of the 
webcast will be available on the company's website later the same day.
