Notification of a change in shareholding according to Securities Markets Act
2:10

Tekla Corporation has received the following notification on January 22, 2010:
Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings Limited´s and Ameriprise Financial Inc.'s
holdings in Tekla Corporation have decreased below the 5% threshold on January
21, 2010.

Ameriprice Financial Inc. is the parent company of Threadneedle Asset Management
Holdings Limited, which is the parent company of Threadneedle Asset Management
Limited and Threadneedle International Limited.

According to the notification, the holdings of Ameriprice Inc. and its group
companies are now in total 808,973 shares, which represent 3.582% of Tekla´s
shares and voting rights.

The stock of Tekla Corporation comprises a total of 22,586,200 shares.
