SECURITIES MARKETS ACT, CHAPTER 2, PARAGRAPH 10                                 

Pursuant to the Securities Markets Act, Chapter 2, Paragraph 10, Marimekko      
Corporation (Business Identity Code 0111316-2) announces that it has been       
informed today that SEB Asset Management S.A´s share of Marimekko Corporation´s 
share capital and voting rights has exceeded 1/20, i.e. increased to 5.13% as a 
result of transaction concluded on 5 February 2010.                             

According to the disclosure, SEB Asset Management S.A´s share of Marimekko      
Corporation´s share capital and voting rights after the transaction is the
