Profit of the year 2009

During the year 2009 SC Klaipedos Nafta reloaded 7.66 million tones of oil
products, by 7 per cent more than the targeted transshipment volume of 7.1
million tones for 2009 corresponding to the designed annual capacity of the
Terminal. The Company received sales income in the amount of LTL 116.3 million
and by 17 per cent exceeded the targeted index of sales income (LTL 99.6
million) and generated unaudited pre-tax profit of LTL 42.6 million. 

Under the prevailing conditions of economic recession with the decreased demand
for oil products on the global market SC Klaipedos Nafta during the year 2009
if compared to the year 2008 generated by 29 per cent greater unaudited pre-tax
profit (pre-tax profit of 2009 - LTL 42.6 million; of 2008 - LTL 33.0 million).
The successful performance of the Company was determined by a flexible
reloading tariff policy, constant investments into the upgrading of the
Terminal so that it should keep operating on the competitive market as an
up-to-date, universal and attractive to the Clients Oil Terminal. 

The (unaudited) results of the Company's performance during the year 2009 were
presented at the meeting of the Board of the Company on 10 February 2010.
