Hamilton has been recognized by The Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" analyst survey in 2009 and 2008 for stock picking within the Aerospace, Defense and Government [AD&G] sector. In addition, he is frequently quoted in the press and regularly appears on Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox Business News and other networks. His function at C. K. Cooper will be multifold, including his function as the senior analyst covering the Aerospace, Defense and Government sector and as the firm's director of research.

Prior to joining C. K. Hamilton's research experience began as a member of Institutional Investor – ranked teams at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. Additionally, he worked at boutiques, such as Advest, Benchmark Co and IRG. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University and he is a member of the National Defense Industrial Association.
