Netop Solutions announces sale of rights to Mobile Embedded
Netop Solutions has sold the rights to Netop Solutions Mobile Embedded product,
a niche product in the Netop Solutions Remote Control portfolio to the company
Wisemo A/S. The sale is one of the steps taken to adjust the product portfolio.
Netop Solutions will continue to sell the product as a global, non-exclusive
distributor and maintains the existing portfolio of customers. The agreed
selling price is DKK 5.0m. DKK 2.0m of the amount was paid in cash when the
contract was signed, while the remaining amount will be paid over a five-year
period through a discount arrangement provided in the distributor agreement.
The agreement was concluded with effect from 1 February 2010.
We will announce our guidance for the 2010 financial year when releasing our
2009 Annual Report on 16 March 2010.
