Teleplan Delivers the Most Profitable Business Year
- EBITDA growth of 55%, EBIT growth of 69% and net income growth of 160%
- Established financial stability and strong cash generation: Teleplan
proposes a dividend payment for 2009 of 0.06 Euro per share
Schiphol/Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 4 March 2010 - Teleplan International
N.V. (SDAX, ISIN: NL0000229458), the leading global provider of high-tech
after-market services for the Computer, Communications and Consumer
Electronics industries announced today its unaudited preliminary results
for 2009, reporting one of the most profitable developments in the last
five years. The primary focus in 2009 was to establish financial stability
for Teleplan.
Teleplan revenues amounted to 287.2 Mio Euro in the year under review
(previous year: 304.4 million Euro) representing a decrease of 5.7%. At the
same time EBITDA increased by 55% to 33.8 million Euro, EBIT rose by 69% to
28.9 million Euro and net income by 160% to 17.4 million Euro. Consequently
earnings per share increased to 0.29 Euro (previous year: 0.11 Euro).
With significantly improved profit and cash generation in 2009 combined
with the expectations for a solid performance in the future the Management
Board together with the Supervisory Board will propose to the Annual
General Meeting on 20 May 2010 to pay out a dividend of 0.06 Euro per share
for the 2009 fiscal year. The dividend of 3.6 million Euro will be paid out
of the 17.4 million Euro in net income. The remaining 13.8 million Euro
will be carried forward.
The enhanced financial strength has put Teleplan in a position to realize
the company's primary goal going forward which is growth. We are preparing
for an expansion of the top line. We plan to achieve this by focusing on
long-term, sustainable growth and putting the customer at the center of our
activities,'commented Gotthard Haug on the outlook for 2010.
