April releases will feature new recordings by conductors Roger Norrington and Christopher Hogwood; cellist Gerhard Oppitz; and archival recordings by pianist Géza Anda and violinist Ida Haendel.
With a catalog that boasts nearly 800 CD and DVD titles, Haenssler CLASSIC is one of the most important independent German classical music labels. In addition to offering a variety of superb choral recordings, the label showcases rare repertoire, world premieres, newly discovered masterpieces and up-and-coming young artists. The Haenssler CLASSIC catalog features the exclusive recordings of world-renowned conductor, Helmuth Rilling, including the 172 CD Edition Bachakademie.
