SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - March 18, 2010) - Sauce Labs (www.saucelabs.com), the Selenium Company, today announced that custom software development firm Pivotal Labs has selected Sauce Labs' Sauce OnDemand cloud testing service to test their own mission critical web applications, as well as those of their clients, across various browsers in the cloud.
Prior to using the Sauce OnDemand cloud service, Pivotal Labs -- whose clients include Twitter, Best Buy and Salesforce.com -- ran on-premise Selenium cross-browser site tests which required them to maintain a test infrastructure supporting multiple browsers, languages and operating systems. After rigorously testing the reliability of Sauce OnDemand, Pivotal Labs decided to move all their Selenium based functional testing requirements to the cloud.

Going forward, the company will also use Sauce OnDemand for their client software application development projects.
