On 16 February 2010, the Cabinet of Ministers reviewed the draft law “Amendments to the Law on credit institutions” and on 11 March 2010, the document was submitted to the Budget and Finance (tax) Commission of the Saeima (Parliament) of the Republic of Latvia. The draft law was developed by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia. SC Parex Banka informs that in case the draft law is approved in its current edition (see www.saeima.lv), it may affect the interests of SC Parex banka subordinated note (ISIN LV0000800696) holders. Hence we ask all holders of SC Parex banka subordinated notes (ISIN LV0000800696) to follow the parliamentary discussion and approval process of the draft law supported by the Cabinet of Ministers.
