Halpin Joins e.Republic as Vice President, Education Strategic Programs


SACRAMENTO, CA--(Marketwire - March 31, 2010) - John Halpin has been named Vice President of Education Strategic Programs for e.Republic's Center for Digital Education (CDE). The Center is a national research and advisory institute on education technology policies and best practices. The position of Vice President, Education Strategic Programs was created as part of the Center's expansion due to increased demand by firms looking to engage the education market.

Halpin oversees education strategy and business development for the Center, consults on editorial content for Converge (CDE's online portal), and advises on research, survey analysis and publishing content for the Center.

Prior to his private sector work, Halpin taught history and English for 10 years in the Princeton Regional Schools in New Jersey and for 14 years taught telecommunications and IT management courses as an adjunct professor with Golden Gate University.
